What do the designations 9k, 14k and 18k mean?
This information describes the fineness of gold. 18k means 18 carat and that the gold content is 75%.
9k 9k gold means that the piece of jewelry contains 37.5% pure gold and 14k uses 58.5%.
How do I care for my gold and silver jewelry?
If the jewelry is very dirty, wash it with soapy water or water with dishwashing detergent and clean it with a toothbrush. Then simply rinse the jewelry with water and dry with a towel.
If there are finer dirt particles or sweat, simply remove them with a cloth.
What is the difference between brilliants and diamonds?
Diamonds are gemstones and brilliant is a type of cut. Diamonds can become brilliant when cut.
How do I determine my ring size?
Measure the inside diameter of your ring with a ruler and multiply it by 3.14. We also offer ring size adjustment and are sure to find a solution if you want a specific ring.
Can I also have my order wrapped as a gift?
You can send your order as a gift. We are happy to wrap each item individually in beautiful wrapping paper.

How do I care for my watch?
You should clean your watch regularly so that you can enjoy it for a long time. Take a lint-free cloth and wipe the case. A service is also available at regular intervals. Our master watchmakers then check your watches thoroughly and subject them to conscientious service with great know-how and sensitivity. This includes refreshing the case surface, a movement and case, and testing water resistance.
How does the return work?
The item you purchased doesn't fit or doesn't meet your expectations? No problem!
You can return the purchased item within 1 month of the order date and we will refund you the full purchase price. The affected items must always be unused and not damaged. Personalized items cannot be returned. This includes jewelry that has been engraved or altered according to your specifications.
Are sold-out items available again at a later date?
Our items are all unique pieces, but you are welcome to send us the item you want by email and we will automatically notify you as soon as it is available again.
Do I need a user account to place an order?
You don't need a user account and you can also place your order as a guest.
Can I exchange the order?
As an online buyer, you have a legal right of withdrawal within 14 days of receiving the goods. During this time you can cancel the purchase contract without giving reasons and return the purchased items.
We grant you a total right of return of 1 month for the jewelry purchased in our online shop.

When will my money be refunded after returning my order?
We will refund you as soon as we have processed your return. It may take up to 4 days after we receive your package.

What does GLJ do to protect the environment?
For the sake of the environment: second-hand jewelry. The resources of our world are not infinite, this also applies to precious metals and gemstones. Gold and silver, for example, are not renewable raw materials and so you should handle them carefully.
A lot of energy is required for the mining and extraction of precious metals and gemstones, and later also for their transport and processing. In this area too, the topic of sustainability is increasingly becoming the focus of producers and customers.

What is the best way to store my watch?
Store your watch in a dry and light-protected place, preferably in a watch box. There are also watch winders that wind your watch overnight.
What is the minimum order value?
You can be happy with us because we have no minimum order value.
What do the license plates 585, 750, 375 and 925 mean?
These hallmarks are marked in gold jewelry using a so-called hallmark. These numbers are regulated by law and describe the gold content. The stamp means that the piece of jewelry has a gold content of 750, 585 or 375 out of 1000 parts. This means that the alloy contains 75%, 58.5% or 37.5% gold.
In 925 silver the silver content is 92.5%.

When you purchase from our shop you will receive a jewelry certificate and our guarantee is 12 months.
